The Prophet '08 PE synthesizer module is a tabletop analogue synthesizer module with all the same features as its sibling, the Prophet '08 PE Keyboard synthesizer. With its analogue oscillators, its famous Curtis low-pass filters and analogue VCAs, this synth comes closer than ever to giving you that vintage Prophet feel, while still adding some modern touches.

This PE model is exactly the same as the regular Prophet '08 module, but it uses potentiometers for an even more vintage feel.

The Prophet 08 PE synthesizer module has three envelopes and four LFOs per voice. Furthermore, it features a 16 x 4 step sequencer, arpeggiator, split or stacked key modes, separate stereo ouputs per layer, MIDI in, out and thru, and much, much more! It even has controls for programming sounds and controlling software synths in your DAW.

Finally, the Dave Smith Instruments Prophet '08 synthesizer comes with a set of rack ears, so that you can mount it in a 19" rack. It's a must-have for every producer who works with hardware synths, as well as a great addition to the existing line-up of software synthesizers.
